Will I be penalized for not having coverage in 2015?
If you dont have coverage in 2015, you'll pay the HIGHER PENALTY of these two amouts.

2% of your yearly household income

325.00 per adult and 162.50 per child under 18
If you dont have coverage in 2016 and beyond you'll pay the HIGHER PENALTY of these two amouts.

2.5% of your yearly household income

695.00 per adult and 347.50 per child under 18

Can I be denied coverage due to pre-existing conditions?
No, you cannot be denied coverage based on pre-existing conditions. The Affordable Care Act went into effect 1/1/2014 and barred insurers from denying coverage based on previous medical history.
When will my coverage start?
For coverage to begin on the 1st of the month you must enroll by the 15th of the month.


The insurance premiums are more than I can afford, how can I recieve a government subsidy?
If you are within 400% of the Federal Poverty Level you may qualify for a subsidy also known as a tax credit. We can help you with that.

When will my insurance cards be sent?
Your cards will not be mailed out until payment of the first months premium has been received. Normal turn around is 7-10 days.
