When you purchase a Keystone HMO plan from Independence Blue Cross, you may see any doctor or visit any hospital in the Keystone HMO network. You select a primary care physician also referred as a (PCP) to coordinate your health care. Your PCP will treat you for general health care needs and refer you to specialists. With a Keystone HMO plan, you will not be covered for care that you receive from doctors or hospitals outside the Keystone HMO network. Emergency Services are covered outside of the Network. In order to purchase coverage, you must reside in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware or Montgomery county.
